so i went for my prenatal checkup on saturday 4th March 2017 and doctor told me i was already 2-3cm dilated. if his estimation was accurate, i will deliver on 6th March.
that moment, my heart almost stopped. finally, the 9 months of waiting and anticipation will almost be over. while hb happily skipped like a rabbit to the payment counter to make the last payment, i sat on the nearby couch with a blank mind.
...
so the doctor was accurate. what a pro he was. on 5th march (sun) i had the so-called bloody show, which simply means i am ready for delivery.
my parents dropped hb and i off in the hospital and we walked to the delivery suite. i was really nervous, so was hb. admission papers were done few days back, so everything was fast.
the nurse ushered us to the delivery suite and buckle me up with needles and tubes at 315am. then at 345am, epidural was injected. while friends told me the injection was painful, i felt none. it was basically painless. thank god. while the doctor administer the epidural, doctor asked hb if he is ok to stay to see or he wants to go out to get some coffee, he chose to stay. another thank god. even though i knew there was nothing he can do, but his presence makes me less tense.
400am, catheter was insert.
418am, a kind of drip to make the contraction quicken was put in.
i drifted off sleepily after that, but was woken up with painful contractions an hour later. i endured, because i felt this is what labour and mother is supposed to be. sweats were dripping down uncontrollably when the pain intensify more. from every 5 mins once, to a shorter interval of pain. the pain was at the lower abdominal, then slowly the lower back pain started as well. i have to call out to the sleepy husband, holding and squeezing his hand very tightly.
i weaken entirely. i knew if the pain continues, there will be no way i can push the baby out later. most of my energy already used up from enduring the contraction pain. i have to finally called the anaesthetic doctor to give me more doses.
11am, i was told that i am 10cm dilated and all ready to practice the pushing. however, as this is my 1st baby, the nurse wanted to wait longer for the baby to move towards the birth canal more before i start the pushing.
12 noon, pushing begins.
1300-1400hrs, baby out.
the only regret i have is i never get a chance to see my baby boy 1st reaction or face because i was so tired that i couldnt even lifted my eye lid. i didnt really get to hold him till i started breastfeeding him.
family and friends asked if i will do it again? i simply told them ... who knows. but if i ever did tried the second time, kkh will definitely be my first choice.

WEEK 39 – DAY 1
Just when I was telling the baby it is time to come out yesterday, today gynae checkup gave me a shock.
“Baby might be here tonight or tomorrow since you’re 2-3cm dilated”
AWWWW…!!!! That’s how I screamed inside me. I can hear the husband making a sound outside as well. He was excited and nervous, with a big grin on his face. I wasn’t excited, after having the doctor checking my cervix the very first time. He practically put his finger or fingers to measure the dilation. It was not super painful, but more of a discomfort. I was squashing my face in an awkward manner. Squashing it even more when he said he is going to stretch it a little bit more. I tried to be less tense so the muscle down there will not be so tight to be painful, wasn’t helping much I guess. It bled for hours after that which the doctor pre-warns me saying it is absolutely normal. So I just let it bled.
So yup… admission is done and money paid. All I do now is to wait.
So is it today or tomorrow =) Baby, you can decide =)

WEEK 38 - DAY 7
Nope. No sign of him wanting to come out. Probably just some contraction here and there, which is similar to pulling and pushing pressure in the stomach area.
Stomach getting heavier and walking now seems a tad bit of difficult compare to before.
The common water retention also started happening to me few days ago. For example, swollen fingers and swollen feet. Mom says mine is mild since there are people who really have very swollen fingers and feet. Mine probably just cant fit into my wedding ring. Covered shoes seems fine still. So I am lucky.
Everything now is well prepared for his arrival. His name, his cot, his diapers, his milk formula, his tiny clothes, the breast pump, the toy to entertain him and the milk bottles are all brought and pack nicely.
The only thing that is not prepared well enough should be the new mummy emotional/physical/mental wellbeing. It is not about the anxiety of taking care of a newborn, but more of the delivery process. As this is the 1st baby, delivery time is usually quite long. And then there is the contraction pain which everyone rave about how un-tolerate it is. And then the side effect of having epidural such as shivering and vomiting. And then the sewing up of tear vagina hole. And then there is the going to toilet pee for the first time if not nurse/doctor will not allow you to discharge. All these, is if I can successfully go for a natural delivery. What if i develop something unexpected and c-sec need to be done. That’s another thing to worry. After all these, next will be the concern of sore nipples, engorgement, flappy tummy, losing of hair and perhaps also the start of sleepless nights.
My mom told me the night before that woman body are build amazingly with function for bringing child to life. The body are able to take the stress for carrying a full term baby 9-10 months and recover back the way it is. But it takes time. So patience is key here. The body might not feel as perfect as before giving birth to a child, but well, I will try to make it as perfect as it can be through regular exercise to strengthen back the loose ligaments/muscles/fats.
So for now, dear baby. Daddy and Mummy is waiting for your arrival. Is time to come out and play =)

WEEK 17 - DAY 3
I haven't really announce officially in this space, but yup, today is week 17 day 3 :)
1st trimester was bad but not real bad except 4 weeks of nausea, 2 weeks of puking and 1 day of hospital drama for drips. in a way, unlike other soon to be mom who puke everyday for many weeks, my horrible puking only lasted for 2 weeks, which turn out to be the same as my mom when she was pregnant with me. thank god! and thank you baby in the womb for making my life tough but with a little leeway. it was slightly difficult emotionally because the husband wasn't around except weekends. but luckily, I know he is always contactable through phone if anytime I needed some emotional support.
2nd trimester was a breeze. I started eating a lot and my energy bar maxing out. I can work more, walk more, shop more and laugh more. husband is still not around except the weekends but I am feeling better emotionally because the energy make me be able to do more of what I wanted to do. so he being not around wasn't much impact as compared to the 1st trimester. everything sounded good except this one thing attacking me right now which I didn't expect it to be so soon - round ligament pain. the pain was intense. 10am since yesterday, the pain begin, especially when I walk. nope, not getting any better. asked mr google and it says it is common to experience round ligament pain after week 17. WAA MAN THANK YOU HOR I JUST START WEEK 17 YOU START GIVE ME THIS GIFT. -.-
haiz, the husband going to Nepal soon for 3 weeks and uncontactable. lets hope this new journey will be smooth. PLS COOPERATE WITH ME AH BABY!

TRANS EPILASIK : DAY 21 onwards
day 21
went doctor appointment. and it true, there are still power in my eyes especially my right, hence making it not clear. doctor reassure me is because I have high astig which would take longer to recover. overall, cells are continuously healing. new set of eyedrops to be use after my previous set is done. next doctor appointment will be 1 month later. hope by that time the vision will be stable and no power left. oh, and I started driving already.
day 70
started Lotemax eyedrop 1 month ago and finished it last night. going to start Pred Forte eyedrop this morning. right eye still weaker than left but doctor reassured me since it takes 3-6 months to stabilize. I believe him for now. but so far, it is still one of the good decisions I have made. sunglasses can be worn easily and travelling is a breeze with out specs :)
day 95
right eye finally got better vision although I must say it is not 100% clear when I need to read really small alphabets. doctor took a look and check my eyes and YES... this is gonna be my last appointment. both my eyes degree now is +0.25. so the update of this blog will end here too :)

TRANS EPILASIK : DAY10
started a new set of eye drops from today onwards.
1) endura lubricant eye drops
2) fml
Left sight is still better than the right
I used a hand to cover my right eye to test the left. And I'm glad the words are clear. When I did the other side, right eye vision for the words are totally blur. Hope it will get better over time.

Woke up. Left eye a bit sting and teary. i have to put in the eye drops immediately. each eye drops have to have a 10 to 15mins apart. right eye have not much feelings though.
1230
begin my 2nd dosage of all the eye drops. eyes no longer feel sting or teary. vision still fluactuaing. cant really look at handphone. everytime i looked at it, there is a layer of rainbow like reflection blocking the screen. i have to ask family members to help me look at my hp messagaes and replying them.
2 July
Day 3
0945
just finished the 1st dose of all the eye drops. eye sight drop a bit. cant really make up the words at all. contact lens are dry and feel like falling off. i have to wipe my face with the given TLC wipes then put in all the eye drops. eyes felt better after that. going to the doctor office at Mount E for the 1st review. hope all goes well.
1200
too many people in the clinic waiting for Dr Ho. their planning of appointment fails. my appointment was suppose to be 1130 but the nurse told me to go for a walk and be back at 1230 due to the crowd. head to the opposite building - paragon and had soup spoon. vision is still a blur. i have to walk slowly. and amazingly. some shoppers know and let me pass by before they walk. so gracious :)
1335
just came back from the doctor. good to kow that my cornea is clean, no infections, healing well. told the doctor everything i see still a blur, doctor mentioned things will be much better after the removal of the ontact lens. exercising can start after that also. is a good news i reckon since i havent been able to exercise for a while and mybody felt like a 70 years old.
2000
went out for dinner. traffic lights and headlights of the cars are quite glaring. i have to sit at the back of the car to prevent most of the lights. sunglass need to be put on as well to block the lights. no wonder they say you cant drive at night for 2 months. now i kind of understand. strangely, during the day is fine with the sunglass on. i should be able to resume my driving in daylight hours in 2 or 3 weeks later.
3 July
Day 4
0915
woke up. same old stuff. eyes are dry and lens felt like falling off.
2210
hungry always. presume the eyes need food to heal. havent had the thought of "best decision of my life" yet because i still cant see clearly. day vision is definitely better than the night. sometimes i can really see super clear in the day then super blur after sun down. had too much nap that i no longer feel tired. still though, i havent start using the sleeping pills. guess I will not use it either.

TRANS-EPI LASIK: DAY 1
30 June
0945
So my sister started the car. its about time to head to the clinic for the lasik surgery. i wanted to back up. yes, i am serious. the nerve gets into me suddenly. i started to worry things. worry about the essential and the non-essential things. then, a friend texted me..."are you on your way? dont worry la, you will have clear vision soon. then you will know this is the best decision you have made." so, i plucked up the courage and the journey begins...
1045
the counter nurse advised that i will be the 2nd person for the day for the lasik. it kind of calm me down a bit since i can have enough preparation of what it is like for the 1st person. another comforting sight to know is there are a total of 4 person undergoing the same procedures as me today. i heard stories that there are clinics whereby due to overwhelming patients, patients are going into the surgery room 5 mins per patients. it resembled sardine lined up to be packed into cans. the feelings wasnt really nice. so to know that there are only 4 patients doing the surgery wasnt that bad afterall. and the best part is... i am not the 1st person to do the procedure :)
1120
nurses just finish explaining all the eyedrops which we need to administer after the surgery and same to be done when we are at home. she explained on the emergency procedures as well. if the contact lens that will be placed onto our eye fall out, then we need to head to A&E for emergency procedures. so i guess i need to make sure the lens arent dry enough to be fall out then. VERY important - the nurse said again.
1140
Made payment to the entire procedures. Goodbye $3600.
1200
my name was called. i was dressed into the surgery rode, hair cap and shoes cover. the nurse helped to drip 2 drops of numbing eye drops into my eyes. i am practically shaking at this point. i asked the nurse several times..."you sure it will be a painless and quick surgery right?" HAHA. i was praying silently. then the door opened and the 1st patient came out of her surgery, and off i went.
1205
the nurse double confirm my name and birth date. i was asked to lied on the operation bed. i was damn scared!! haha!! i grabbed onto the operation robes sides and kept looking around. the doctor said a calm "dont worry, is a very quick procedure. no pain." the doctor hold onto my head and then i looked at the green dot, the laser begins. of course, after getting my eye lash clamped. it hurt a bit though. but bearable. i mean the clamp. laser itself wasnt painful. thank god! it was also very helpful that the doctor was counting down. i focus on my breathing the whole time. it was really amazed that the whole laser was done within about 30 second per eye. after both eyes were done, the doctor asked me to sit up and turn me to one side. "look over there and smile" A nurse was holding an ipad and taking photo of us. LMAO! i was usher out to the dark room to rest.
1300
left the clinic. i have to hold onto my sister with my cap and sunglass on. the sunlight was really glaring. i barely could open my eyes. i slept in the car while heading home. my eyes were tired. i could walk around the house with not much difficulties. i dont feel the need to hide in a dark room. so far, everything seems like a positive note for my eyes, because i saw a few reviews that they need to hide in a dark room after reaching home. i slept for abut 2 hours then search for food. HAHA. i guess the eyes need food to heal.
20000
so far, no dry eyes ... no pain ... no bitter sensation when i drip the 4 eye drops :)

TRANS-EPI LASIK : FEW HOURS MORE
Tomorrow is D-day

TRANS-EPI LASIK : EVALUATION DAY
I started thinking about undergoing Lasik since 5 or 6 years ago. That time, it was the in-thing to do. However, I lack courage and money, so the plan was put off.
Now I have finally pluck up the courage and go ahead because I involve myself in active exercise like gym/yoga. Can you imagine everytime I did yoga, the specs just roll down to the end of my nose. Of course, my friend did persuade me successfully. She takes credit for it. With a little money in the bank (gonna eat grass for the next 3 months), a little older and wiser, a little more courage and many more urge to want to be free off glasses, I booked the evaluation with Clear Vision. Why Clear Vision, because online review (whether it is blogger review or not), I haven’t found one that has its degree/astigmatism returns from this clinic. Yup, it gave me a boost of confidence in going ahead. It was a 1 month wait for the evaluation.
The night before the evaluation:
I wasn’t able to sleep well. I don’t know what to expect on the evaluation. Is it going to be painful or uncomfortable? What is going to happen when the eye drop dropped and dilation happens? These questions kept running through inside my head. I was supposed to sleep for 7 hours. But I guess I only manage to sleep like 5 hours.
The day - evaluation:
I reach on time. Waited a little bit for my turn to undergo check up. It was station by station so it takes a while. Checks on the power of the eyes, the shape of the eye, eye pressure, corneal thickness and then some eye drops dropped by the nurse to wait for it to dilate at the end. Every test wasn’t scary or painful. Maybe just the part on the eye pressure, is a bit, itchy. There was a gush of air shoot right into the eye. 3 times per eye. Other than that is ok.
Dilation took a while. Probably about 20mins. After which, everything seems bright. And the words are blurry. I walked to Mount Elizabeth to meet my doctor where he analyzed and let me know if I am a suitable candidate for Lasik. AND yes I did.
"you have very healthy eyes. I should be able to give you perfect eyesight."
Those are the words. Yes. It is enough to triple boost my courage to go ahead with the operation.
Few more days to go and I am excited. I cant wait to have my eyes back. I already kind of forgotten when was the last time when I was without my glasses without going blind.

REVERSING
Finally changed my specs after 3 years of wearing it. But I am having some problems getting use to the new specs. Not about the vision mainly, is the frame that is too big and heavy. A regret move. Since I have paid so much on a specs (Emporio Armani. More than SGD500). For now, my ears are really painful due to the heavy weight resting on it 24/7. I need to make it comfortable, which only mean I need to go back to the shop (my 3rd time returning to fix the weight) to get it shape up to fit my ears. So you can only imagine how grumpy and irritated I am right now. The pain vs the number of times going back to the shop. At this very moment, I WANT A LASIK.
Then I came across this article online regarding reversing of myopia and astigmatism. As well as 45% have permanent eye damage after lasik according to FDA (maybe not referring to Singaporean).
Interesting huh. Many other people who tried the method have significant result of reversing the myopia and astigmatism. I am determine to try.
The person online mentioned in his blog…"Let me tell you this, 100% for sure: eye exercises don't work. Popping "eye vitamins", doesn't work. The only thing that works, is positive, persistent habits. …"
Wish me luck. And I hope one day, I no longer need that heavy big frame specs hanging on my nose and ears.

PERSONALITY TEST
You are one of the Analysts - a rational and impartial individual who enjoys intellectual pursuits and prizes independence. You are known for your debating skills, self-confidence and impressive knowledge.
Playing devil's advocate so well, people with this personality type may find that the most complex and rewarding intellectual challenge is to understand a more sentimental perspective, and to argue consideration and compromise alongside logic and progress.
ENTP Strengths
- Knowledgeable - ENTPs rarely pass up a good opportunity to learn something new, especially abstract concepts. This information isn't usually absorbed for any planned purpose as with dedicated studying, people with the ENTP personality type just find it fascinating.
- Quick Thinkers - ENTPs have tremendously flexible minds, and are able to shift from idea to idea without effort, drawing on their accumulated knowledge to prove their points, or their opponents', as they see fit.
- Original - Having little attachment to tradition, ENTP personalities are able to discard existing systems and methods and pull together disparate ideas from their extensive knowledge base, with a little raw creativity to hold them together, to formulate bold new ideas. If presented with chronic, systemic problems and given rein to solve them, ENTPs respond with unabashed glee.
- Excellent Brainstormers - Nothing is quite as enjoyable to ENTPs as analyzing problems from every angle to find the best solutions. Combining their knowledge and originality to splay out every aspect of the subject at hand, rejecting without remorse options that don't work and presenting ever more possibilities, ENTPs are irreplaceable in brainstorming sessions.
- Charismatic - People with the ENTP personality type have a way with words and wit that others find intriguing. Their confidence, quick thought and ability to connect disparate ideas in novel ways create a style of communication that is charming, even entertaining, and informative at the same time.
- Energetic - When given a chance to combine these traits to examine an interesting problem, ENTPs can be truly impressive in their enthusiasm and energy, having no qualms with putting in long days and nights to find a solution.
ENTP Weaknesses
- Very Argumentative - If there's anything ENTPs enjoy, it's the mental exercise of debating an idea, and nothing is sacred. More consensus-oriented personality types rarely appreciate the vigor with which ENTP personalities tear down their beliefs and methods, leading to a great deal of tension.
- Insensitive - Being so rational, ENTPs often misjudge others feelings and push their debates well past others' tolerance levels. People with this personality type don't really consider emotional points to be valid in such debates either, which magnifies the issue tremendously.
- Intolerant - Unless people are able to back up their ideas in a round of mental sparring, ENTPs are likely to dismiss not just the ideas but the people themselves. Either a suggestion can stand up to rational scrutiny or it's not worth bothering with.
- Can Find It Difficult to Focus - The same flexibility that allows ENTPs to come up with such original plans and ideas makes them readapt perfectly good ones far too often, or to even drop them entirely as the initial excitement wanes and newer thoughts come along. Boredom comes too easily for ENTPs, and fresh thoughts are the solution, though not always a helpful one.
- Dislike Practical Matters - ENTPs are interested in what could be - malleable concepts like ideas and plans that can be adapted and debated. When it comes to hard details and day-to-day execution where creative flair isn't just unnecessary but actually counter-productive, ENTP personalities lose interest, often with the consequence of their plans never seeing the light of day.

FIRST TIME ACUPUNCTURE
I had my first acupuncture last Tuesday. One of the colleagues and I were researching on facial/slimming acupuncture and came across some bloggers who visited this TCM in Chinatown. after a short consultation with the doctor, the colleague went into one of the room with one of the tuina doctor for her first ever tuina, while I went into the next room for acupuncture. the purpose of my acupuncture is to improve the overall health of my body, although I must admit that was not my main motive visiting this TCM in the first place.
the first need was poked into my stomach. slight discomfort was experience after a few more needles were poked into the stomach and on my thigh. then when the doctor poked the next few needles into my feet, I screamed a little. there were electric wave and the sensation linger for quite some time. doctor say slight electric sensation and numbness experienced is normal. she continue to work fast on both of my hands and poked the last few more onto my face. since I was having my menses at that point, she skipped 2 more needles.
I lied there for 30 mins without moving, because any movements cause pain on those area where the needles were. 30 mins thereafter, there were slight pain (like ant bite) when the doctor came in to remove the needles. I walked out slowly because my feet feel a bit sore. I was given 14 days of medication to consume.
I don't know how acupuncture can help to improve my health. I will try a few more times to determine the effectiveness of it. since acupuncture started close to more than 2500 years ago in ancient china, sure it has it advantages and benefits to it. Also, it is explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as qi — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in the body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that energy flow will re-balance.
Hb once a while will complain about shoulder/neck pain, maybe I should ask him to try acupuncture.

2 MORE WEEKS TO 29
Just 2 more weeks and I am turning 29. If I am fortunate to only live till 60, I’ve already live half of my life.
At this age, I started noticing changes in my body. I used to have 100% energy level, but now I rated it as 70%. I am no longer as active as before. Instead of going out with friends, I rather go for dinner or stay at home watching videos. The number of times heading to the gym decreases as well. From 4 times a week to only 1 or 2 times a week.
Teeth/Gum aint strong as before also. Digestive system likewise getting slightly weaker.
My skin become drier then formerly. It just seems like the elasticity of my skin tumbles from a 100% to a 70%.
My face is not as radiance as it used to be. I never have the habit of putting sunblock because the oiliness is just not what I am looking for. To me, the oiliness creates unwanted pimples on my face. Then I love the sun. I can stand there and let the sun shine onto me. Research says the sun has Vitamin E. The disadvantages of this at age 29, freckles slowly appearing. Pimples that comes and goes but left a dark pigmentation on the face. Pores become larger. Everything all sound so-not-good.
So now, in order to prevent extra obvious aging to my already negative list, I started pouring money into skin care, expensive facial, moisturizing hand or leg cream and my latest invested product… collagen consumption. Does it really works? Honestly, I don’t know.
Friends and families told me how important collagen for female because female produce less collagen than men and collagen is gradually losing about 1% every year according to research from medical doctors. Dr. Liow Tiong Sin is an aesthetic practitioner who said this in his blog, “Collagen is a natural protein component of the skin that acts like a frame and the main building block for cells, tissues and organs. About a third of the protein content in your body is made up of collagen, which is found in the bones, muscles, and tissues of the organs. Collagen, keratin and elastin give the skin its strength, elasticity and structure.”
For now, guess I will stick to my regime. Works a not, guess only time till tell.
Kudoos to almost a 29 years old me. Giving myself a pat on the back for walking this far.

SHORT ADVENTURE
I started something in the beginning of June, and ended it in end of June as well. Should have push on, but thinking long term, it doesn’t benefit me at all. Anyway, family members don’t support me on this as well so everytime I say I am doing this, they shake their head. Demoralizing huh.
Standing was long hours, hands kept working with cold water (frequent immersion in cold water can suffered from rheumatoid arthritis) and colleagues are loud/aggressive. Money was little.
Those were the bad points.
The good ones, are basically the servicing of customers. It was really nice when you pack their drinks and say thank you. They smile back or sometimes, strike a small conversation.
Perhaps I am better being a customer. OR perhaps I am not suitable for such environment. However, I worked in Hans Café before and the environment is much friendlier. At least, the staff don’t chit-chat so loud that the person taking the orders have to kept asking customers to repeat themselves.
If you have guess it right, yes, I have a short stint at Koi Café in the East. If you see me before, most of the time I am packing the drinks and saying “thank you and have a nice day”.
Now I wonder what is my next adventure =)

GOLF - 7TH + 8TH LESSON (Mandai Golf Course)
Finally we went to the golf course. It was drizzling so we couldn’t get into the golf course until the siren goes off.
The coach checked that we have everything, but reprimanded us when we did not bring tee and balls. Seriously, I was not very happy that time. How can I be happy when I am being accused for forgetfulness. It was our first time going into the golf course and he did not inform us pre-hand on what to bring and what to prepare. If he did, we would have purchase it when we went to a golf fair. I felt injustice, but kept quiet. Then he lectured me again loudly for wearing sports short (adidas running shorts), saying that I never learnt. But really, instructions are not clear. All he did when he told me on my dressing was asking me to wear polo shirt! Can you imagine how I feel. In my mind, I was giving him kicks and punches. Anyway, I courteously told him I have a pair of extra button shorts in the car, if he insist I can just go change. He toned down a little and say nevermind. I guess he is unhappy with us when we have to wait for our turn to go into the golf course and that’s when he says we should go for a drink, I did not offer to pay. But that’s my assumption.
We head to the first hole. No instructions given before we went in as well. All he did was yell and being impatience. That kind of sucky attitude lasted until the 5th hole. From the 1st to the 5th hole, I sweared at him inside my head. All I want to do is to get over and done with. Towards the end, he tone down a little and explained with more patience. However, it was too late. Rain came and we have to rush to finish the remaining holes.
If you asked me if my 1st golf course experience is a good one, I can be really honest… NO.
Then if you asked me what is the reason I did not enjoy the game… is because of the coach.
Then if you asked me what is the reason I did not enjoy the game… is because of the coach.
Like very honest hor -.-
When hb and I are prepared to learn new things from our 1st experience in the golf course, and the temperament from an attitude coach spoilt our chance of absorbing knowledge from the game. It was sad and pitiful. The thing is, we did not owe him a living and we did not engage his services for free. WE PAY MONEY YOU KNOW!! I don’t expect someone calling himself a teacher when he don’t know how to teach.
We have 2 more lessons with him. And he trying to act as if he forgotten about it. Even though I paid 10 lessons, I decided to forget about the last 2 lessons.
You know I have so many complains with this guy. So long that an A4 size paper is not enough for me to write. Did I even mention anything about his student which is a Doctor (doctor, doc wife and 2 kids) after us and he can make us go elsewhere to finish the golf balls in the driving range just because the doctor came and our time is not even up? Then the students in front of us continue using the space even when it is our time slot just because they always give him money for free through illegal betting (bet on how far he can hit). Very SIAN LOR!
If he ever see my blog…
I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU ‘Mr Malek bin Talib – coach for BISHAN DRIVING RANGE’, ALTHOUGH WE ARE NOT RICH BUT WE PAY FOR YOUR 10 GOLF LESSONS. WE HAVE NEVER MISS ONE SINGLE LESSON. WE TALK TO YOU POLITELY AND EXPECT SAME IN RETURN. THAT FINAL TWO LAST LESSON WHICH WE ALREADY PAID FOR, TAKE IT AS TIPS.
It is just so disturbing. On our 4th lesson, hb and I actually have already decided to take another 10 more lessons from him before going for certification. Forget it, guess as long as we can afford (although we are not rich people), we can get another reputable coach who will treat people with respect (not seeing how wealthy one person is).
Sorry, rant too much… but so angry you know.

EXPERIENCE WITH SCOOT
I was back from Bangkok and the thai govt has decided to instill Marshall Law just a day I return. So I have researched and found out that Marshall Law = is the imposition of military power over designated regions on an emergency basis. But really, 4 days in Bangkok, I didn’t see any demonstrations or riots or even any police patrolling around outside the shopping malls. Then again, safety is the top priority and given that we have registered with MFA, receiving updates everyday was assuring enough.
Anyway, that’s not my purpose of this post today. I am trying to dedicate this post to my returning flight back to Singapore – Scoot Singapore (TZ301).
We took Scoot (got promotion). I wasn’t very happy with Scoot when they changed my flight which shorten my overall trip. And while we are in Thailand, trying to log online to upsize our luggage capacity for check-in was a hassle as well. We have to call and buy through phone. The charges was expensive too. Compare to Air Asia which I took to Thailand 2 years ago, Scoot aint friendly and has many improving to do. Not happy with the customer service person who talk to me too. She was rude and sound impatience. I haven’t even finish talking and she hung me up. Forgot to ask for her name. Grrr…
My impression with them change while on the flight back. There are several passengers having a tough time trying to find their seats. Simply because they (the passengers) mixed up their own tickets and have a slight commotion finding those seats. The flight attendant was patience though, requesting them to go to a corner and help sort out their tickets. Everything (the noise from the commotion) settled down within 5 mins.
Then during the landing, the air craft met several turbulence which prevents the plane land. A few times, the plane was shaking heavily. I was scare undeniably. The thought of the recent Malaysian airline surfaced in my thoughts. At that point of time, I knew how scare the passengers in the Malaysian air craft gets. The feeling was vulnerable. With excellent flight control from the plane Captain, we landed safety. HOORAY!! That very minute, I thank God. Of course, I thank the plane Captain for such good handling of the plane in such distress moment which gets us to safety.
